The IRCM Challenge is an annual event where family, friends and colleagues gather in a friendly atmosphere. The 2021 edition goes virtual, with timed virtual races from October 9 to 24, 2021.

The IRCM Challenge offers various distances:
- Very Big Challenge – Marathon 42.2 km run
- Big Challenge – Demi-marathon 21.1 km run
- 10 km Run, walk, bike move!
- 5 km Run, walk, bike move!
- 1 km Run, walk, bike move! (children 12 and under)
Timing is handled using a mobile app (iOS or Android). Technical details will be sent to you by eMail few days before the event. It will also be possible to use another timing technology and manually upload your time on the results page.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Step 1 | Register
Visit the
Official Page of the IRCM Challenge to register.
Decide on the best time and place to complete your distance during the two week period from October 9 to October 24.
Upload and install the free
IYR Virtual mobile app (iOS et Android) and configure the app to connect to your account.
Installation and usage instructions will be provided during the week prior to the event. You must allow 24 hours for your profile to synchronize with the application database.
Step 2 | Run or walk safely
Outdoors : Running or walking must be done with security first in mind, while respecting the social distanciation measures: two meters between each individual;
Raise the challenge individually or with your immediate persons currently living with you only;
Do it according to your current fit level;
Be cautious at all times;

Step 3 | Consult the results
If you use the free IYR Virtual mobile app, which uses GPS tracking, your time and distance will automatically be recorded in the results database;
If you do not use the IYR Virtual app, you will have to submit your time by using a feature on the ItsYourRace web site;
You can monitor the progress of the event on the ItsYourRace web site;
